Omnis UK Smaller Companies Fund - Additional Manager Appointment in June

We are delighted to appoint an additional manager for the Omnis UK Smaller Companies to manage the fund in conjunction with the existing manager, Franklin Templeton. Following a careful and considered selection process, we are delighted to appoint Fidelity International to be the second manager.

It is expected that, from 7 June 2022, Fidelity will begin managing the fund alongside Franklin Templeton. The Fund will continue to be managed in accordance with the investment objective, however, it requires a change to the investment policy of the fund. Where there is currently a limitation in terms of the number of securities the fund may hold (between 35 and 60), this will be removed. In essence, the fund will change from being a ‘concentrated’ to an ‘unconcentrated’ portfolio.

We have prepared a simple one-page document explaining why we are appointing a second manager to the fund and why Fidelity has been selected.
