The Russian invasion of Ukraine has triggered turmoil in financial markets and threatens hopes of a strong global economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Markets had a rough start to the month, with the UK and Europe bearing the brunt of the selling. The FSTE 100 and the pan-European STOXX 600 index both had their worst weeks since the start of the pandemic as concerns about the war deepened. Read more in our OMPS monthly update.
